Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck – Living Fully, Living Well

Therapy at BHCI is key to wellness, whether to return short-term patients or outpatient clients back to independence or keep long-term residents moving and active.

Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck is a valued neighbor, resource and employer in New Brighton. Its growth and outreach mirrors the growth of the community around it — and the tremendous advances in medical care, rehabilitative therapy and services to help people stay healthy and independent.

A spectrum of care on site and in your home

By providing a spectrum of services on site in and individual homes, BHCI is able to be a consistent resource and provider for individuals in various moments of life. “We help people regain the health they need to live life to its fullest, wherever they are,” administrator and CEO Susan Ager explains.

The programs and services offered include:

• Post-Acute Care – Short-term rehabilitation is provided in private rooms with bathrooms and showers.  This is where people recover from surgery, regain health after an illness or just boost stamina before returning to independence. With nutritious meals and daily therapy, they often recover more fully and quickly than they would at home.

• Out-Patient Therapy – Community members are welcome to visit the BHCI therapy gym to meet physical, occupational or speech therapy goals to maintain or increase strength and endurance while living in your own home.

• Long-Term Care & Memory Care - Compassionate care is provided to individuals who need medical care for a variety of complex conditions, but who enjoy BHCI’s rich social life, with communal meals, religious services, off-campus trips and special visitors and events.  The Villa is a secure memory care neighborhood with specially trained staff dedicated to caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

• Integrative Health & Healing Services - Aromatherapy, comfort massage, healing music, and healing touch are offered to enhance medical care and support each person’s natural ability to heal.

Much more than a job!

Benedictine Health Center at Innsbruck offers a relationship based working environment for those wanting to make a healing impact in the lives of others! In 1999, BHCI became a member of the Benedictine Health System, which is a Catholic organization entrusted with advancing the health care ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of Duluth.  Benedictine Health System’s Core Values of hospitality, stewardship, respect and justice guide the care and service provided.
