Roselawn Cemetery is proud to announce, our new Veterans’ Memorial Coming Summer 2016
Located along Larpenteur Avenue in Roseville, Roselawn Cemetery is situated on 160 acres of immaculately cared-for land, creating an open and peaceful resting place for your loved ones.
Roselawn has many cremation options that include the Garden of Remembrance, Split Rock Garden, plus a community mausoleum that provide a lasting memorial for all. Soon, these options will be expanded, with the addition of a military veteran’s memorial, as well. Plans to build a memorial for veterans have been in the works for many years, according to cemetery superintendent Larry Hudella.
“We’re long overdue to construct this and hope to have it completed by mid summer” Hudella says.
The pentagon-shaped memorial will include an ossuary, as well as niches for men and women who have served in the United States military, and their spouses. Inscriptions can include their name and military emblem. A military cremation urn bag and companion urn bag for a spouse are available.
According to Roselawn Cemetery’s president, Scott Spaeth, the Roselawn Board wants to have a variety of options available at a convenient location for their loved ones. Roselawn will offer discounts for veterans, as well as special reduced prices for pre-construction sales of the memorial.
Roselawn Cemetery has a reputation as being one of the best-maintained cemeteries in the Twin Cities, Hudella says. He attributes the outstanding upkeep and quality service to the dedicated Roselawn staff, who have a combined 130 years of experience.
For over a century, Roselawn Cemetery has worked with families to make their options clear and affordable. Hudella and Spaeth both agree that Roselawn is one of the most financially sound cemeteries in the area. Spaeth added that “Roselawn is sure to stay secure in an industry that has been undergoing a lot of recent changes.” With the rising demand for cremation, Roselawn Cemetery has made sure to stay ahead of the curve and provide a variety of cremation options, more than any other cemetery in the metro area, according to Spaeth.
The staff of Roselawn know that it is more about just the cremation process. They also work to make sure the remains are able to be memorialized in a meaningful way, allowing Roselawn to be “somewhere for grandkids to come and find a connection with past family members,” Hudella explains.
Because our staff is experienced, dedicated and knowledgeable, Spaeth says, we can make sure every families needs and desires are met in a peaceful, dignified manner.
With columbarium options in a variety of beautiful locations, as well as at-ground and above-ground headstones for traditional burial plots and the soon-coming veterans memorial, Roselawn Cemetery has a variety of options for people to consider so the connection between them and their loved ones can be memorialized for years to come.
