Capture a spiritual journey in words

The Benedictine Center is offering a series of workshops called "Spiritual Autobiography" for writers and everyone else on a spiritual journey. They will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, from Jan. 9 through Feb. 20. The cost for these four sessions is $30.

Huskies laud fall all-conference picks

Nearly 30 St. Anthony Village High School athletes earned all-conference or all-conference honorable mention status during the fall sports season. A number of those honored helped lead their respective teams to conference championships, and one made a state-meet appearance.

St. Anthony's Ostrom reaches 1,000-point plateau

St. Anthony Village High School senior Jenny Ostrom has had quite a month and a half. Early in November, she signed a letter of intent to play Division I college basketball. Six weeks later, she reached a scoring milestone and now has her name on a sign in the high school gymnasium.

MV seeks Parks and Rec member

The city of Mounds View is currently accepting applications for a vacant seat on the Parks and Recreation Commission. The purpose of this commission is to advise the City Council on the operation of public recreation, parks and playgrounds, pursuant to Chapter 405.1 in the City Code.
