Roseville HRC seeks applications for youth commissioner

The city of Roseville is seeking applications for a youth commissioner for the Human Rights Commission (HRC). The commission is looking for a student who is interested in protecting human rights for all, a Roseville resident, and a sophomore, junior or senior in high school. The deadline to apply is May 15 and interviews will take place on May 20.

The HRC provides a method for citizen input concerning human rights issues and promotes a positive human rights climate in the community. Youth commissioners are non-voting members who bring the youth viewpoint to the commission.

The HRC meets the third Wednesday of most months at 6 p.m. Meetings are at City Hall, 2660 Civic Center Drive. Youth commissioners serve a one-year term and may be eligible to serve additional terms.
