Two seniors at Convent of the Visitation School in Mendota Heights have signed letters of intent to play at Division I schools.

Emily Kishish will swim for St. Louis University and Ingrid McNeely will row for Drake University. Kishish started swimming for Visitation her freshman year. Since then, she has been name All-American twice, and name to All-Conference and All-State three times.

She is a Class A state record holder in the 200 medley relay (2012-2014), two-time state champion in the 200 medley relay and a school record holder in the same race.

Kishish said she looks forward to bringing her skills to the St. Louis University team and “being a leader on the team as I become older.”

McNeely has served three seasons as a captain of the juniors program for her rowing club. She has been named MVP and been a varsity-level rower for three seasons.

She said Drake’s program is unique in the way that it’s a team with a lot of novices on it.

“It’s fun to be part of a growing team,” McNeely said.
