Caring for Cats Bingo Night

Caring for Cats is a local no-kill shelter full of adorable cats waiting for their fur-ever home. Funds from our Bingo Night will be used to support the needs of our cats and keep the shelter running smoothly. You will be helping our cats while also winning cash prizes, gift cards and much more.

Caring for Cats’ Bingo Night will be Thursday, May 19 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the American Legion Post 39, 2678 East 7th Ave., North St. Paul.

 

Foggy Thinking: Understanding Brain Fog

Brain fog, or feeling as if you’re in a fog and can’t think straight, is a common symptom of living with lupus and other autoimmune diseases. During this seminar hosted by the Lupus Foundation of Minnesota (LFM), Carrie Reynoso will address underlying causes of brain fog and discuss strategies to re-balance the brain, such as diet, the use of supplements and relaxation techniques.

Carrie Reynoso, RD, LD, CLT is a registered dietician and is licensed through the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition. She currently practices at Forever Nutritious, a private practice focused on functional medicine.

This event will take place Thursday, May 12, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Maplewood Library, 3025 Southlawn Drive. It is free to attend, but pre-registration is required by Wednesday, May 11. To register call LFM Director of Education Sandy Parnell at 952-746-5151/800-645-1131, ext. 105.
