One man allegedly robbed four area gas stations between Sept. 28 and 29. The Oakdale, Maplewood and North St. Paul police departments teamed up to identify a suspect who allegedly robbed gas stations in all three communities.

The first of the four robberies occurred just before 6 a.m. at the SuperAmerica located at 1750 White Bear Ave. in Maplewood. The next occurred about 30 minutes later at the Holiday gas station at 2438 Margaret Street in North St. Paul. Later that same morning, around 7:40 a.m., the suspect targeted The Corner Store at 5699 Geneva Ave. N. in Oakdale.

The final robbery happened just after 12:15 a.m., into the next day, at the Holiday located at 1025 Hadley Ave. N. in Oakdale.

In all four instances, the suspect — brandishing a silver and black handgun — demanded cash.

Surveillance videos showed what appeared to be the same man in each location: a man in his early twenties, with a thin build and about six feet tall.

According to Oakdale officer Michelle Stark, the Oakdale Police Department has identified a person of interest and has executed a search warrant in relation to the robberies.

Because the investigation is still active, no further information was available at press time.
