HH-2017: Holiday tours of the Governor's Mansion

Holiday tours of the Minnesota governor’s residence kicked off on Nov. 27 with festive outdoor lighting of the the outdoor garland. The house will be open Dec. 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Dec. 12 from 5 to 7 p.m., and Dec. 19 from 10:30 to 12:30 p.m., for holiday tours. No reservation is required; tours will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is no free for the tour, but attendees are encouraged to bring a monetary donation or nonperishable food item for Second Hand Harvest.

During the tours, volunteer docents from the Women’s Auxiliary of the Minnesota Historical Society will be available to answer questions in each room of the first floor and lower level of the residence. Proceeds from the sale of available merchandise will help support the historic residence. 

The Governor’s Mansion is located at 1006 Summit Ave, St Paul.
