Super Bowl housing rental rules in Roseville

Hosting the Super Bowl is an exciting time for the Twin Cities area. Community members are looking forward to showing off all Minnesota has to offer and to welcoming visitors from across the country. The Super Bowl welcoming committee is planning a week’s worth of fun for visitors to explore the region.

With the opportunity to welcome visitors comes the opportunity to make a little extra cash. Housing will be in high demand in the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl. The City of Roseville has received inquiries about whether homeowners can rent out a room or their entire home for Super Bowl week using online rental sites like AirBnB, Home and Away, VRBO or other property management companies.

The City of Roseville requires single-family homes and homes with four or fewer units for rent to register with the city. Annual rental fees are $35 per year. Property owners can register at www.cityofroseville.com/rentalregistration.

Housing regulations regarding rental properties can be found in Chapter 907 of the Roseville City Code available at www.cityofroseville.com/citycode.
