New Brighton Eagles breakfast

The New Brighton Eagles Auxiliary will host a breakfast on Jan. 8 starting at 8 a.m. The breakfast costs $6, which includes all-you-can-eat pancakes with a choice of sides like sausage, ham, eggs, toast, hashbrowns and fruit. Orange juice, coffee and milk come with the breakfast. Side orders are available for an extra charge. The Eagles Club is located at 563 Old Highway 8 in New Brighton. Warm coats needed for ex-prisoners

Jehovah Lutheran Church is collecting winter coats for just-released prisoners re-entering society. Gently used large, XL and XXL coats, jackets and other winter clothing are welcome. Donors can place items in the CrossingHOME shopping cart in the church’s donation center, indoors and to the left of the Thomas Avenue entry. The church is at 1566 Thomas Ave. in St. Paul. Drop-off items Sundays before or after 10:15 a.m. worship or call the church at 651-644-1421 to set up another time.
