‘Cancer Dance’ at Rosetown Legion

The public is invited to attend the annual Cancer Dance on Saturday, March 3 at 5:30 p.m. at the Rosetown American Legion, 700 County Road C in Roseville. This year’s theme is “Reveal Your Inner Cowboy.” Tickets are $10, which includes a Sloppy-Joe dinner, and can be purchased at the door the day of the event. The evening also has pie walks, raffle baskets, a shopping bazaar, grab bags, country western album sales, wine pull, and dancing to DJ H.W. Sidewise.

All proceeds go to support the work of Dr. Lucie Turcotte at the Masonic Cancer Center, University of Minnesota - an Order of the Eastern Star Scholar, to benefit her research focused on second malignancies and short- and long-term outcomes in pediatric cancer survivors. She has a specific clinical interest in childhood leukemias and lymphomas, as well as in histiocytic disorders. The Legion is proud to support Dr. Turcotte and her research with the Cancer Dance.
