Mounds View Sons of Norway hosting photographer

The Mounds View Sons of Norway are hosting a presentation by photographer Doug Ohman at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church starting at 7 p.m. on Monday, April 2. Ohman, the author of several photographic books, photographs Minnesota churches, schoolhouses, libraries and other historical landmarks. New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary Club Egg Hunt, non-perishable donation

The Rotary Club of New Brighton and Mounds View will host its 29th annual egg hunt at Driftwood Park starting at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 29. The hunt is divided into the age ranges of one month to 24 months, 2-3 years old, 4-5 years old and 6-7 years old. An Easter Bunny will be available for photos. Bring a basket or bag to collect eggs and be there early; eggs get gathered quickly. Eggs will contain jelly beans and tickets for redeeming a prize. City of Arden Hills Spring Egg Hunt

The City of Arden Hills is hosting a Spring Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 31 at Cummings Park starting at 10:30 a.m for ages 1-4, 10:40 a.m. for ages 5-9 and 10:50 a.m. for ages 9-12. Hunt for candy and toy-filled colored eggs and keep an eye out for a special gold egg that can be turned in for a special prize. Arrive early to check in and get an egg hunt welcome bag. Roseville Rotary seeks families for exchange students

The Rotary Club of Roseville is hosting a female exchange student from Denmark for the 2018/19 school year. This student will be attending Roseville Area High School. The club is looking for families who live in the Roseville Area School District to host the student for approximately three months, with a choice of either fall, winter or spring. Shoreview Community Garden Club hosts ‘4 Seasons of Pot Designs’ presentation

The Shoreview Community Garden Club hosts Your Enchanted Florist owner Lynn Tischler’s presentation “4 Seasons of Pot Designs” at the Shoreview Community Center starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4. ‘Sciences of Meditation’ seminar

Lions Club waffle breakfast in Roseville

The North Suburban Evening Lions Club will be holding an “All The Waffles You Can Eat” breakfast on Sunday, April 15, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 at the Roseville Skating Center, 2661 Civic Center Drive in Roseville. Sausage, coffee, milk and orange juice are also included. There will also be a cake walk and raffle. The cost is free for ages 5 and under and $8 for ages 6 and over. Ticket proceeds go to community projects. Also, old eyeglasses and hearing aids and their used batteries can be brought to this event for donation.

The MN Food Association, a program of The Food Group, operates a farm education program in certified organic vegetable production for beginning and immigrant farmers. The CSA is packed with the highest quality local food purchased from farmers in the program.  Become a member of the CSA and you too can support farmers from 10 different cultures practicing sustainable agriculture and building a local food system in the community. Mental health support group in Roseville 

A NAMI Connection peer support group for adults recovering from mental illness meets bi-weekly in Roseville. The free group is sponsored by NAMI Minnesota, a part of the National Alliance on Mental Illness. Trained facilitators who are also in recovery lead NAMI Connection groups. The group meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, at 6:30-8:00 p.m., at Centennial Methodist Church, 1524 County Road C2 W. in Roseville.
