‘Better Angels Workshop’: talking across political divides

There’s a lot of stress these days among family members and friends who are divided politically, and the current polarized public conversation doesn’t help.

Join Do Good Roseville for “How to Talk Across the Political Divide: A Better Angels Skills Workshop” to learn skills for having respectful conversations that clarify differences, search for common ground and affirm the importance of the relationships. The workshop is Tuesday, July 17, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Lexington Park Building, 2131 Lexington Ave. N., Roseville.

The workshop presenter is Bill Doherty, a founder of Better Angels and a University of Minnesota professor. You will have an opportunity to practice conversation skills in pairs with someone of your same political persuasion.

Anyone interested in having better conversations with people on the other side of the political aisle is welcome to attend.  Registration is requested register at  www.dogoodroseville.com/register.
