‘Love Lines’ exhibit opening

Stop by the East Side Arts Council gallery on May 2, 6 to 7:30 p.m. for the opening of a new exhibit “Love Lines.” The exhibit celebrates the idea that drawing can happen anywhere/anytime and shows the interweaved lives of artists Ana Laura Juarez and Dennis Madamba. Consisting of diary drawings, self portraits and gifts exchanged between one another, the exhibit shares a glance at self love, exchange of love, and moments lived in the present. Many of the portraits were created by the artists’ ritual of drawing one another while traveling, waiting for food to arrive, and in between work at cafes. This event is free and open to anyone. The East Side Arts Council gallery is located at 977 Payne Ave.
