The solar array atop Roseville City Hall that was installed this winter began feeding clean energy to the electrical grid on April 22, Earth Day. Solar panels also went up on top of the fire station. The solar arrays will help the city save money on power, and should offset an estimated 55 tons of greenhouse gas emmissions annually. Roseville is installing solar panels on other city facilities this summer as well, bringing its total annual offset to 141 tons of greenhouse gases.
