Some local governments opt out of new statute that allows for temporary tiny homes

A New Brighton-based start up faced big challenges its first year in business, so its two young founders took on the law, so to speak, in order to ease the red tape that makes operating their business a bit of a hassle.

Mounds View renames County Highway 10


Just before reaching Mounds View, both County Highway 10 and U.S. Highway 10 appear together on signage along Interstate 35W. Soon, the name Mound View Boulevard will appear in place of County Highway 10.

Busy roadway will soon be called ‘Mounds View Blvd.’

The Mounds View City Council has taken the essential steps to clear up some roadway confusion.

Local entrepreneurs seek legislation to ease restrictions on locating tiny homes

The tiny house movement isn’t only for the young and sprightly. 

A New Brighton company is fielding another path for it, but to make it work, the company’s two young business partners are first wading through the waters of passing new legislation at the state Capitol.
