It was a good time to be in D.C.

My sister Sue and I had been thinking about taking a trip together — maybe to New England for fall colors — but the day after Sen. John McCain’s funeral in Washington, D.C., she suggested we go there instead.

Inver Grove Heights explores option of barrier free playground

It could be a busy time for the Inver Grove Heights Parks and Recreation Commission as it explores the idea of a barrier-free playground.

Locations of Gold Line transit stations being refined, public feedback sought

New plans for Inver Grove Heights city parks move forward


images courtesy of City of Inver Grove Heights Work will be done in North Valley and South Valley parks, located off 70th Street East, in Inver Grove Heights. Work, which is expected to start in 2019, will give the parks a facelift and new amenities like pickleball courts.

Two parks in Inver Grove Heights will be getting some major work done as part of a parks master plan update approved Nov. 13 by the Inver Grove Heights City Council.
