Mother arrested, allegedly shot daughter in leg in North St. Paul

The North St. Paul Police Department on Monday, Feb. 10, released the name of a suspect in a shooting that occurred early Sunday.
Monday afternoon, police were searching for Tonya Hale Raleigh, 35, of North St. Paul. She is suspected of shooting her 18-year-old daughter in the leg after they argued, according to North St. Paul police Capt. Dustin Nikituk. He said the victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

The North St. Paul Police Department on Monday, Feb. 10, released the name of a suspect in a shooting that occurred early Sunday.
Monday afternoon, police were actively searching for Tonya Hale Raleigh, 35, of North St. Paul, for allegedly shooting her 18-year-old daughter in the leg after they argued, according to North St. Paul police Capt. Dustin Nikituk. He said the victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

With one lead, Maplewood police still trying to identify burglary suspect

The Maplewood Police Department is still trying to identify a burglary suspect shown in surveillance footage prying a safe off a countertop at a senior-living facility in early November.
Police released videos of the incident recently, asking for the public's help in identifying a man who stole a safe full of keys for room doors and storage cabinets at The Homestead at Maplewood, 1890 Sherren Ave., around 2 a.m. Nov. 7.
Upon seeing the released footage, police received a notice from the Edina Police Department that a safe was recovered that might have been the one taken from Homestead, according to Maplewood Deputy Chief Dave Kvam.

North St. Paul police received a report of a suspicious package next to a trash can in front of Luther Auctions at 2556 E. Seventh Ave., just after noon.
