Shoreview writer pens love letter to small town baseball

Writing is no new hobby for Tom Murray, a newly retired special education teacher and 30-year Shoreview resident. 

He says he’s been writing his whole life. But once, long ago, he asked someone if they would read a manuscript of his.

New Brighton native competing on Nigerian Olympic bobsled team

New Brighton city staff considers developers for Korean church property


file photo • New Brighton is in discussions with developers looking to redevelop the Korean United Methodist Church site, which the city bought last year for $1.9 million.

Since a city staff team-building retreat in January, New Brighton has been in contact with developers interested in the redevelopment of the city-owned defunct Korean United Methodist Church site, according to the New Brighton City Council’s Feb.

New Brighton family finds mini miracle on ‘Family Feud’

Up a little hill off Old Highway 8 and County Road D in New Brighton stands Barley John’s Brew Pub, the eatery and pub where John Moore has brewed and served craft beer all under the same roof since 2000.

Mounds View residents voice concern and support for possible gun range
