‘A Talent for Murder’ at Lakeshore Players

When a talent show turns deadly, it’s up to the audience to solve the mystery of how, why and who done it in “A Talent for Murder,” April 7-8. The mystery theater fundraising event takes place at Lakeshore Players Theatre. As the audience arrives, excited contestants are getting ready to compete in a citywide “talent contest.” But as the show goes on, a shadowy guest may also make an appearance: the shadow of death. It will be up to Chief Inspector Claudia Butler, with the help of the entire cast and audience, to solve the mystery and expose the murderer. The interactive murder mystery was written and directed by Keith Reed and features actors from across the Twin Cities.

The show begins at 6:30. Tickets are $45 and include hors d’oeuvres, behind-the-scenes theatre tours, “Talent Show”, post-show reception with main course and murder investigation, prizes, and dessert.

Proceeds benefit Lakeshore Players Theatre. Performances are at the theater, 4820 Stewart Ave., in downtown White Bear Lake. For reservations and information, call 429-5674, or go online to www .lakeshoreplayers.com.
