Arrests
•   A woman was walking her dog in the 1800 block of Walnut Street on June 6 when a loose dog charged out of an open gate and attacked her dog. She yelled, and the aggressive dog ran home. "Due to a long history of complaints," according to a police report, the owner was cited for "failure to contain dog," and "dangerous dog." The woman’s dog was not injured.
•   An officer stopped a 40-year-old Minneapolis man June 11 at Highway 280 and Larpenteur Avenue for speeding and arrested him for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, open bottle, gross-misdemeanor blood-alcohol test refusal, and the speed violation. The man’s vehicle was impounded and he was booked at the Ramsey County Jail.
