Arrests
•Pulled over after leaving the scene of a two-car crash in the area of Rice Street and Little Canada Road June 18, a 32-year-old Maplewood man was taken into custody. He was given a notice of vehicle seizure with intent to forfeit and booked at the Ramsey County Jail on charges of second-degree driving while intoxicated, suspicion of heroin possession, leaving the scene of a property damage crash, and multiple warrants for his arrest.
•   The 25-year-old man wanted to have sex June 18. His 22-year-old wife did not. He punched her. She called 911. He left. Deputies arrived and left the man arrest citations for domestic assault, fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct.
•  While a 39-year-old woman was on the phone June 18, hearing details of her16-year-old daughter’s alleged night of drinking with a friend from the friend’s father, her daughter slapped her, dropping her to the floor. The victim called 911 and deputies arrived. After they sorted it all out, the case was referred to the attorney’s office in Washington County, where the suspect is currently on probation.
Theft
•   A bike, value estimated at $399, was reported stolen June 10 from the yard of a residence in the 3000 block of Valento Road.
•   Power and hand tools, total value estimated at $3,000, went missing June19 from a truck parked in the first block of Demont Avenue.
•   Several yard gnomes, total value unknown, disappeared June 21 from the front steps of a residence in the 200 block of Demont Avenue.
