As the emerald ash borer makes its way into the metro area, homeowners, along with municipalities, are scrambling to protect our valuable ash trees. At the Ramsey-Washington Metro Watershed District, we are concerned not only with losing trees, but with the potential harm to our water resources from the unsafe use of insecticides.
