County tackles recycling in parks, along streets
Soon there'll be a lot more junk in our parks - noticeable junk, anyway.
After discussions with all 17 of its cities, Ramsey County got such an enthusiastic response to queries that it aims to move ahead with ordering 2,000 public recycling bins that its 13 interested cities can disperse as needed.

Human resources expert steps into WSP position
West St. Paul's new assistant manager started work Sept. 22. City manager John Remkus said their selection, Sherrie Le, was chosen with the intent that someday she will replace him when he retires.

Remkus, the city's financial director from 1981 to 2008, took over the position of city manager after Arbon Hairston left with a tarnished reputation.
