Drivers safety refresher course

A four-hour AARP Driver Safety class will be offered to drivers age 55 and over who have previously taken an eight-hour class. The class is on Thursday, March 23, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Simley High School, 2920 80th St. E., Inver Grove Heights.

Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom has released statistics for 2005 involving juvenile prosecutions handled by his office.
The total number of juveniles (youth 10 to 17 years old) charged with criminal offenses decreased from 1,968 in 2004 to 1,924 in 2005.
